How To Get To Los Alamos Beach Festival in Torremolinos, Spain
If you haven’t been in the South of Spain, Costa del Sol’s Los Alamos Beach located in Torremolinos Malaga, Spain is one of the best geographic locations in the world. Its accessible location makes it so easy to book your flight to Malaga, Spain (AGP airport code) which is located only 2 kilometers from the festival location. If you’re coming directly from the airport get in a taxi for a 10 minute ride to Los Alamos Beach Festival. If you insist on public transportation you can get there by bus (25 minutes) or train (35 minutes) that departs every 40 minutes. You can get your train ticket upon arrival at the train station but I recommend booking it in advance here.
So what should you expect? It’s on the beach, so think minimalist. If you’ve ever attended a festival in the desert like Burning Man, all covered up with dust where bikes are your primary means of transportation, you will have great appreciation for a festival on the beach. You can walk everywhere! In between your favorite DJ sets you can jump into the water on the best beach of Costa del Sol. You can also get a tan while watching beautiful, colorful people and get a drink while dancing like no body’s watching. Between all the bars on the beach and the beautiful people with a variety of customs, you’ll just want go back for another round of a world known DJ.

Should you attend the entire festival or just a day? It’s a question we’ve asked ourselves before attending. We decided attending just one day will be a very powerful experience for us. As two busy entrepreneurs, we always strive to find the middle ground between having fun and staying focused. In every music festival, there is a peak day. In most cases it’s on Saturday, when the best artists are playing their top DJ set. There’s an electrifying energy in the air. The crowd has warmed up from the previous day all happy, open, excited, and you just drop right into it. We lived in Malaga, which made it easy to pack our beach bags, hop in a taxi and drive to another unforgettable day in our lives. If you chose to go the entire weekend, it has never been a logistically easier festival to attend. From flying into AGP airport which is only 2km from the festival to finding a piece of real estate to place your tent. All you need is basic camping gear (i.e. tent & sleeping bag,) and you can get the rest locally like food and alcohol. We’ve found Malaga to be relatively cheap.
Speaking of costs, it is one of the reasons why so many people attend the festival. It costs around 100 euros for the entire weekend, or 50 euros for a one day pass. Add to it the cheap prices of alcohol and food booths in-house for festival attendees, and you won’t need to go anywhere! Everything is all in your proximity.
Los Alamos Beach Festival aims to surpass all your expectations. It has had global media coverage and just last year over 40,000 people attended. Being one weekend long on the beach in the best time of the year, mid-July, makes it irresistible. Los Alamos Beach Festival is home to the best artists at a national as well as an international level. That’s why the festival attracts locals from all parts of Spain and Europe, but also from all over the world. It is known for its extravagant staging and impressive shows during the performances. It’s a mind-blowing experience of color, fire, trapeze, LED screens and mapping. Prepare to be amazed!
Here are several of the past years’ artists, just to name a few; Juanjo Vergara, Nervo, Jamie Jones, Chuckie, Andrea Oliva, Uner, Martin Garrix, Yvsev, Tom Staar, Sander van dooren, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Shapov, Borgore, Axwell & Ingrosso, and Luis Roca.
